Inter Commercial League Basketball Finals Set

PCD / GGSL, will be defending their Inter Commercial Basketball title, following their hard fought semi final match against Fire Service whom they defeated 51 - 45.Once again they were led by the Louisson brothers, Andre 22 points, 9 rebounds and Troy 21 points, 21 rebounds and 6 assists.Gabriel Grey led the way for Fire Service with 13 points and 5 rebounds. He received assistance from Jerry Charles with 12 points and Cazaubon with 9 points and 5 rebounds. Financial Services have also booked their spot in the finals with 83 - 73 victory over the Royal St. Lucia Police Force who they outscored 46 - 36 in the second half. The half time score was 37 - 37 after Police held a nine point lead at the end of the first quarter 23 - 14.Leading the way for Financial Services were Shamoir Jn. Baptiste 25 points, 6 rebounds, Dillan Biscette 13 points, Marlon Samuel 12 points, Kurt Hyacinth 11 points and Y. Montoute 8 points and 9 rebounds.For the Lawmen, Shervon Mathieu had 23 points, 15 rebounds, C. Dantes 13 points, 6 rebounds, and Peter Hunte 9 points and 7 rebounds. This year's final will be a repeat of last year's with PCD coming up against Financial Services.
