2023 ALBA Games - Nicaragua gets U17 silver medal thanks to victory over Saint Lucia

Nicaragua completed a 3-1 record to earn the Silver Medal in the U17 category of the 2023 ALBA Games Men's basketball competition, by defeating Saint Lucia 103-21 at Naciones Unidas Park in Caracas, Venezuela.

Kenny Mojica and Shaen McMeo scored 17 points each for the winning side. Larry Downs added 15 points and Bryan Casildo finished up with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Carlos Hernandez helped them with 10 points and 9 steals.

Meanwhile, for Saint Lucia, Glen Juan finished up with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. Dante Danil added 4 points and Teige Wylan added 3 more.

Bolivia finished with a 2-2 record to secure the Bronze Medal in the U17 category, completed by Dominica (1-3) and Saint Lucia (0-4).
