CBC Championship: Jamaica roll past Saint Vincent for second straight win

Jamaica improved at 2-0 record at the start of the CBC Championship. They knocked down Saint Vincent to climb on top of Group B. Shenneika Smith (185-F/C-89, college: St.John's) netted 12 points to pace the winning side.
Jamaica eked out a 9:6 lead after a slow first quarter. They stepped on the gas in the second period. Jamaica boosted the lead to as many as 12 points at the big break 25:13. Jamaica triggered a 22:4 run in the third term to secure a comfortable 30-point lead before the fourth frame. Jamaica never looked back afterwards. Sasha Dixon (167-G-87) had 10 points, while Jennifer George (183-F, college: Florida) added 8 points for the winners. Vasha Adams (F/C-83) answered with 11 points for Saint Vincent. Suzette Jackson (86) had 5 points in the defeat.
