Shawn King
Experienced 34-year old Vincentian international center Shawn King (208-100kg-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) left BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (ProA) from In two games in France he had 4.5ppg and 4.0rpg this season.
The last season King played at Kalev/Cramo in Estonia Alexela KML where in 15 games he recorded 11.7ppg, 9.9rpg, 1.2apg and 1.0bpg. He helped them to win the league title (twice) (also twice). A very impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Estonian League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Center of the Year. King also played 14 games in VTB United League where he averaged 14.0ppg, 12.8rpg, 1.4apg and 1.4bpg. The other team King played shortly was Bucaneros in Venezuela LPB. In 6 games he got 6.3ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.0spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others King was voted Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Player of the Year back in 2011.
He also represented Saint Vincent at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) last year. His stats at that event were 6 games: 12.5ppg, Reb-1 (14.8rpg), 2.0apg, 1.2spg, Blocks-2 (3.2bpg), FGP-1 (75.0%), FT: 78.9%.
King is quite experienced player. He has played in six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). King has played previously professionally in Italy (Virtus Bologna), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Slovenia (Hopsi Polzela), Ukraine (BC Odessa), France (Sluc Nancy and STB Le Havre) and Belarus (Tsmoki-Minsk).
He attended Oral Roberts University until 2008 and it is his ninth season as a professional player.
