Avila signs Phillip Lawrence

PHILLIP LAWRENCE

Avila Autentica Carrefour (LEB Silver) signed American (has also Vincentian passport) forward Phillip Lawrence (201-86kg, college: Marist, agency: Duran International). He played last season at Barreirense in Portuguese LPB league. In 31 games he had very impressive stats: 15.6ppg and 5.5rpg.
The previous (16-17) season Lawrence played at Moycullen (Super League) in league where in 22 games he was fifth best scorer with remarkable 20.7ppg and averaged 9.0rpg. Quite impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Irish Super League 2nd Team and League Player of the Week.
He graduated from Marist College in 2016 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
