Shawn King is back at BM Slam Stal

SHAWN KING

BM Slam Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (EBL) signed experienced 36-year old Vincentian center Shawn King (208-100kg-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports). It is actually his comeback to BM Slam Stal as he has played here before. King played last season at Primorska in Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. In 33 games he had 7.0ppg, 8.2rpg and 1.0bpg. He helped them to win the cup and make to league semifinals. King also played 25 games in ABA League where he recorded 9.2ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.0apg and 1.5bpg.
The most of previous (2016-17) season King spent at BM Slam Stal (TBL). In 36 games he averaged 11.6ppg, 10.4rpg, 1.1apg and 1.4bpg. A very impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Center of the Year. He also spent pre-season at Gravelines Dunkerque (ProA) in league. In two games he got 4.5ppg and 4.0rpg.
King attended Oral Roberts University until 2008 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.
