King comes back to BM Slam Stal

BM Slam Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (EBL) added to their roster experienced 38-year old Vincentian ex-international center Shawn King (208-100kg-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports). It is actually his comeback to BM Slam Stal as he has played here before. King played last season at Denain ASC Voltaire in French ProB. In 23 games he recorded 7.0ppg, 7.7rpg (#5 in the league) and 1.5apg.
The previous (18-19) season King played at BM Slam Stal (Polish EBL) where in 33 games he averaged 10.5ppg, 10.8rpg (leader !!!) and 1.9apg. He helped them to win the cup. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
King also represented Saint Vincent at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) five years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 12.5ppg, Reb-1 (14.8rpg), 2.0apg, 1.2spg, Blocks-2 (3.2bpg), FGP-1 (75.0%), FT: 78.9%.
King is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. King tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Belarus, Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), Italy, Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Slovenia (Hopsi Polzela and Primorska), Ukraine and Venezuela (Bucaneros).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others King won Estonian League championship title in 2016. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League 2 Import Player of the Year in 2018.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at BM Slam Stal.
King attended Oral Roberts University until 2008 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
