Opong Bramble joins Albacete

Opong Bramble

Bueno Arenas Albacete Basket (Segunda FEB) has agreed terms with 28-year-old Vincentian-Canadian ex-international forward Opong Bramble (201cm-105kg-1997, college: CBU, agency: HB-Spain) for the new 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player in the roster, with Argentinian Silvano Merlo signing earlier. Bramble was the top rebounder at Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda in the Tercera FEB last season, averaging 7.9ppg and 5.6rpg in 31 games. He helped the team finish the regular season as the second-best team in the league and was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Tercera FEB All-Imports Team. In the previous 2023-24 season, he played for Futebol Clube Barreirense (Proliga) in the Portuguese league. Bramble was also a member of the Vincentian Senior National Team in 2018.
Bramble has played ppg in Portugal and Sweden (Ockelbo).
He graduated from Christian Brothers University in 2022 and it'll be his fourth season as a pro player. Bramble played for New York Institute of Technology for 4 years.
