Reynan Santos (192-G-2004) and Gabriel Landeira (195-PG-2004) produced 17 points each for the winners. Brazil eked out a 34-32 halftime lead. They stepped on the gas in the third term. Brazil used a 21-12 run to clear off. They held Argentina to just 15 points in the fourth period and raced to the triumph. Guilherme Tesch (203-SF-2004) notched 14 points for Brazil. Dylan Bordon (190-G-2004) responded with 14 points for Argentina. 3-4 PlaceEcuador - Uruguay 63-60Ecuador held off Uruguay to finish third in the championship. Uruguay grabbed a 16-12 lead ten minutes into the game. But Ecuador responded with an 18-11 rally in the second term to ensure a 30-27 halftime lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the second half as Ecuador held on to the lead and eked out a narrow win at the end. Joseph Caicedo (196-F-2004) notched 20 points for the winners. Roodvan Osores (190-F-2004) replied with 13 points and 17 rebounds for Uruguay. 5-6 PlaceColombia - Venezuela 60-82Venezuela wrapped up the championship on a high note. The hosts crushed Colombia to finish fifth in the final ladder. Venezuela dominated from start to finish. They established a 41-31 halftime lead. They used a 20-6 rally in the third period to build a decisive advantage. Carlos Mijares (191-F-2005) tossed in 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Jonathan Griman (205-C-2004) came up with 14 points for the home side. Santiago Velasquez (F-2004) replied with 13 points for Colombia. 7-8 PlaceChile - Bolivia 70-66Chile topped Bolivia to earn the seventh place in Caracas. Benjamin Araya (192-SF-2004) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Chile secured a 37-24 halftime lead. Bolivia tried a fierce comeback in the second half but came up just short at the end. Agustin Moraga (193-PG-2004) provided 15 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds in the victory.
