Santiago overcame Malvin at the South American Club Championship. The Chilean champions will now play against Regatas Lima for the fifth spot at the tournament. Malvin will look for the first win in Quito when they take on Univalle from Bolivia later tonight. Javiera Morales and Romina Valenzuela (178-F-86) paced balanced offensive effort with 12 points apiece for Santiago. Javiera Novion and Fernanda Serrano had 11 points apiece in the victory. Lucia Guadalupe responded with 22 points for Malvin. Daniela Tovagliari finished with 10 points in the loss.
Regatas - Univalle 100-77
Regatas Lima earned the second win at the South American Club Championship. They defeated Univalle behind another sizzling performance from Paola Ferrari (178-G/F-85). She knocked down 37 points and grabbed 6 boards to lead the Peruvian team. Regatas Lima will now face Santiago for the fifth overall position at the tournament. Univalle will look for the first win against Malvin today. Wynter Whitley produced 21 points and 8 boards for Regatas. Elvira Pino had 14 points and 8 boards in the victory. Zulema Cespedes responded with 18 points for Univalle. Laura Florida had 17 points in defeat.

Medellin - UTE 66-89
U.T.E have reached the championship game at the South American Club Championship. The tournament is being held in Quito and the hosts proved their highest ambitions taking down the Colombian champions in a one-sided clash yesterday. U.T.E will now face the Brazilian powerhouse Ourinhos for the title. Medellin will play against Central Enterriano for the bronze medals. Gisela Vega (188-C-82) exploded with 36 points and 16 boards to lead the charge. Silvia Santos Luz added 22 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds in the win. Erika Valek replied with 23 points, 6 boards and 4 assists for Medellin. Yaneth Arias notched 14 points and 7 rebounds in defeat.
Ourinhos - C.Entrerriano 97-65
Ourinhos paved their way into the South American Club Championship Final. They held off Central Enterriano in the semifinal yesterday. Patricia De Oliveira (180-F/G-79) scored 16 points to pace Brazilian champions to the win. They will face U.T.E of Ecuador in the championship game tonight. Central Enterriano will fight for the spot on the podium against Medellin. Jennifer Christina had 15 points for the winners. Karen Rocha knocked down 13 points for Ourinhos. Andrea Gale responded with 18 points and 11 boards for Central Enterriano. Noelia Mendoza finished with 15 points in defeat.
