SBA Hoofdklasse Round 5: SCVU is defeated by Rialto

The game between third ranked SCVU (1-3) and fourth ranked Rialto (2-3) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. SCVU was defeated by Rialto at home 56-38. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Rialto moved-up to second place, which they share with De Arend. SCVU lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with three games lost. Rialto is looking forward to face league's second-placed De Arend in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SCVU will play against the league's leader Yellow Birds and is hoping to win this game.
Very significant was Yellow Birds' (#1, 4-0) victory against second-ranked De Arend (2-3) 66-46. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of De Arend. Yellow Birds have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 4-0 record. De Arend at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Rialto. Yellow Birds will play against bottom-ranked SCVU (#4) in the next round. De Arend will play against Rialto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
