International Forward Earvin De Randamie (190-F-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked SCVU, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (18 points, six rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Ruckers (#1, 13-3) 64-60. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. SCVU maintains the 2nd position in Surinamese Hoofdklasse. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. SCVU will need more victories to improve their 12-4 record. De Randamie turned to be SCVU's top player in his first season with the team. Earvin De Randamie has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 16.5ppg), rebounds (5th best: 7.5rpg) and averages impressive 51.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Clarence Rozenblad of De Arend. Rozenblad had a very good evening with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Of course he led De Arend to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked CLD (#7, 1-14) 81-58. De Arend's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Rozenblad is one of the most experienced players at De Arend and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another De Arend's star - international guard Emile La Rose (185-G-97). La Rose scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was another key player of De Arend, helping his team with a 81-58 easy win against slightly lower-ranked CLD (#7, 1-14). De Arend needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 7 lost games. La Rose has a great season in Surinam. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.6ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 8.3rpg (3rd best).
