Hoofdklasse Round 24: Leader Ruckers get another victory

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Hoofdklasse. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Leader Ruckers delivered the fourteenth win on Thursday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Finabank (1-13) 114-68. Ruckers dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Finabank's 38. They outrebounded Finabank 55-33 including a 40-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was international point guard Gylan Watamaleo (178-93) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. Bjorn Ewijk chipped in 20 points. Ruckers' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Dutch Kenzo Enfa (196-94) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds. Ruckers maintains first position with 14-3 record. Finabank lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Ruckers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Finabank will play against CLD (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
