Ruckers outgunned SCVU to take the lead in the championship series. Ruckers forced 24 SCVU turnovers and had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by SCVU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Xavier Elburg (196-96) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Safiero Fraser (193-96) contributed with 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. International forward Earvin De-Randamie (190-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Oscar Patterson added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for SCVU. Four SCVU players scored in double figures. SCVU's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
