SCVU defeated Ruckers to even the championship series at 1-1. SCVU dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ruckers' 32. They outrebounded Ruckers 57-41 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. 33 personal fouls committed by Ruckers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Earvin De-Randamie (190-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. Sergio Panka contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international Safiero Fraser (193-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Jason Fisher added 11 points in the effort for Ruckers. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
