De Arend beat SCVU to advance into Finals

De Arend clinched the Finals berth as they topped SCVU 71-63 in the decisive fifth game of the semifinal series. De Arend jumped to a comfortable 40-26 halftime lead. They protected the lead throughout the second half and raced to a crucial win. Emile La Rose (185-G-1997) posted 18 points for De Arend. Russel Cairo and Sven Tojo had 13 points each for the winners. SCVU answered with 17 points from Ronaldinho Esajas.
