SCVU inks Xavier Elburg

SCVU (Hoofdklasse) agreed terms with 28-year-old international power forward Xavier Elburg (196cm-1996). The last time (2019-2023) he played at Ruckers in Surinamese Eersteklasse. He has played there for four years. He missed the last two seasons and had a longer break from professional basketball.
Elburg also represented Surinam at the CBC Championship in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) ten years ago. During this event he scored an average of 4.2 ppg and had 2 rpg.
He has played for other Surinamese teams such as Surinamese NT and De Arend.
Elburg won the Surinam League championship title in 2019.
