One of the rare Surinamese women's basketball talents Caroline Adriaansz (188-C) plays now in the USA. She recently studies at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and plays for the university basketball team. Adriaansz came here from Midlands College, where Surinamese centre averaged 10.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. She was named Most Improved Player of the Year in Midlands.
In this season for the Warhawks Caroline Adriaansz averages 3 points 2.2 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per game. She is third on the squad in field goals percentage with 39% and she also shoots 57% of free throws. Adriaansz season highs include 7 points against UAB and 7 boards in the game against Western Kentucky. She also posted record 16 minutes against Louisiana Lafayette.
