Petah Tikva lands Kellindra Zackery

Kellindra Zackery

Hapoel Petah Tikva (D1) tabbed 31-year old American (has also Trinidad and Tobago passport) forward Kellindra Zackery (185-88, college: Newman). She started the season at Esperance Sportive Pully in Swiss SBL league. In 8 games she averaged impressive 23.3ppg, 12.8rpg, 3.9apg and 2.4spg this season. She was also selected League Player of the Week (2 times). The last summer Zackery played at another team Monarchs.
Among other achievements she won WBCBL championship title in 2018. Zackery was selected to Lebanese WLBL All-Star Game in 2018.
She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Zackery experienced life on four different continents. She is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Zackery has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Montana 2003 and Beroe), Germany (TV Saarlouis Royals, BC Pharmaserv Marburg and TSV Amicitia), Ecuador (Real Bolivar) and Lebanon (Energy).
She attended Newman University until 2012 and it is her eighth season in pro basketball.
Zackery is described as: Great pos 3,4,5 player. Can play 3,4 in any league and pos 5 in lower leagues. Big fighter, very coachable. Good person.
