Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro (Serie A) added 30-year-old Trinidad and Tobago center Johnny Hamilton (213cm-104kg-1994, college: UT Arlington). He started the season at Bursaspor in the Turkish BSL league. In 25 games, he recorded 10.8ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.6bpg. He also played 5 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he averaged 10.6ppg, 5.8rpg, and 2.4bpg.
Part of last season he spent at another Turkish team Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Basket Denizli (BSL). The other team he played shortly was Niigata Albirex (B1 League) in Japanese league.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Hamilton's pro career, he has played on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) in seven different countries. He has played professionally in Japan, Montenegro (Mornar), NBA (Atlanta Hawks), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Grand Rapids Gold), NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks), and PBL (Just Hoops).
His team reached the Adriatic League Semifinals in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention in 2020.
