Beirut Club lands Johnny Hamilton

Johnny Hamilton

Beirut Club (LBL) signed 30-year-old Trinidad and Tobago 213cm center Johnny Hamilton, who played at UT Arlington. He recently played for Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro in Italian Serie A and Bursaspor in Turkish BSL. In Serie A, he averaged 10.8ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.6bpg in 25 games, and in Basketball Champions League, he had 10.6ppg, 5.8rpg, and 2.4bpg in 5 games.
He is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and North American leagues. He has played professionally in Italy, Japan (Niigata Albirex), Montenegro (Mornar), Turkey (Darussafaka Lassa, Fenerbahce, Afyon and Merkezefendi), NBA (Atlanta Hawks), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Grand Rapids Gold), NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks) and PBL (Just Hoops).
His team reached the Adriatic League Semifinals in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention in 2020.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018 and is now in his sixth season in pro basketball. He also played for other colleges such as Virginia Tech University and Jacksonville College.
