SE Melbourne sign Malique Lewis

South East Melbourne Phoenix (NBL) have signed 19-year-old Trinidad and Tobago-Spanish-Spaniard 202cm forward Malique Lewis for the upcoming season. He is the second import player on the team, joining USA's Joe Wieskamp. Lewis most recently played for Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico (NBA G League) in the U.S., where he averaged 8.3ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.0bpg in 50 games last season. Prior to that, he spent two seasons (2021-23) with Fuenlabrada (Liga Endesa) in Spain.
Last year, Mexico City Capitanes selected him as the 1st overall pick in the G-League draft.
