The ANOMALY tournament semi-final round delivered high-intensity action, as Maloney Pacers and Caledonia Clippers secured their places in the finals with hard-fought victories.

The Maloney Pacers overcame a resilient NCA Warriors team in a thrilling 94-85 contest. Tyrik Singh was unstoppable, posting 33 points and 10 rebounds. Despite Ahkeem Boyd’s 32-point, 14-rebound performance for NCA, the Pacers pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring their opponents by 13 to seal the win.

In the second semifinal, Caledonia Clippers earned a 79-70 victory over Police. The Clippers’ well-rounded offense, led by Ako Pascall’s 22 points and 5 assists, proved too much for Police to handle. Fabrice Fisher’s 17 points kept Police within striking distance, but Clippers’ consistent scoring in each quarter ensured their spot in the finals.

The medal round now offers redemption opportunities for both the Caledonia Clippers and NCA Warriors, who previously fell to the Maloney Pacers and Police, respectively, during the group stage. Clippers and Warriors will be eager to avenge those defeats and walk away with silverware.

Police, eager to bounce back from their first defeat in the semifinal round, will look to dust themselves off and finish the tournament strong in the bronze medal game. Meanwhile, Pacers remain the only unbeaten team in the tournament and will look to complete a perfect run by adding the ANOMALY title to their impressive 2024 haul, which already includes the DIAL Premier Division (Open Men), DIAL Championship Division (U23 Men), and MOMENTUM Invitational (U23 Men).

The stage is now set for an epic Maloney Pacers versus Caledonia Clippers showdown in the championship game, while NCA Warriors and Police will battle for bronze in the third place playoff.
