The HAB Caicos Sonics are hoping the return of C.J. Foster (191-G-95, college: Arkansas St.), P.J. Reason (193-F, college: Co.Georgia) and Greg Richardson (201-F-86, college: SW Oklahoma St.) will be enough to offset the temporary subtraction of Oliver Price when they open their campaign this summer. The Turks and Caicos island power will compete in several local tournaments before returning to Santiago.

Last year the HAB Caicos Sonics finished in 6th place in their first international campaign in ten years. It was a great learning experience as the club proved they could compete on a high level with American and Dominican teams.

"In 2018 it was a huge learning curve for all of us", said Ciaran O'Neil . I believe this year we will come back much more experienced and make a big run in 2019.

The Sonics have announced the call up of Ciaran O'Neil as the new head coach. He will be replacing American coach Travis McAvene for the 2019 season. "I am blessed and honored to be able to coach the club this year", said coach O'Neil. It was my first goal to return to this club and prove that Turks and Caicos belongs.

National Team player Carlon Bassett will return to lead the Sonics. Last year he averaged a team best 8.0 rebounds per game along with 12 points. He was awarded LatinBasket.com All-Mitchell Cup HM in 2018.
