Walter Hodge
WALTER HODGE

Defending champion Homenetmen Beirut (LBL) inked 32-year old Virgin Islander international point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida). It is actually his comeback to Beirut as he has played here before. Hodge has a double citizenship as he also holds U.S. Virgin Islands passport. Hodge played in the summer at Capitanes de Arecibo in Puerto Rican BSN league. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Good season as he was selected League Player of the Week. The last season Hodge played at Homenetmen where in 39 LBL games he averaged impressive 19.5ppg, 3.1rpg, 7.2apg and 1.5spg. He contributed to his team winning the league title. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Player of the Year, Guard of the Year and Import of the Year.
Among other achievements Hodge received Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Player of the Year award back in 2014.
He also played at the Arab Club Championships Winner last year.
Hodge is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Hodge has played previously professionally in Dominican Rep., France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Italy, Poland (Stelmet Enea BC), Russia (Zenit) and Spain (Baskonia).
He attended University of Florida until 2009 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
