NORFOLK, Va.- Savannah State freshman guard Collins Joseph (183-PG) has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.

Joseph was the Tigers' scoring leader in two of their first three contests last week.

He scored 20 points and had four steals in his collegiate debut at Texas A&M on November 7, scored three points and dished out three assists against Georgia on Nov. 9 and scored 19 points while making 6 of 9 shots from the field and 3 of 4 of his 3-point attempts versus Middle Georgia on Nov. 11.

The St. Thomas, USVI native finished the three games with averages of 14 points, 2.5 steals, two rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 45 percent from the field and 53 percent from beyond the arc.
