In preparation for the International Small Fry Basketball Championships to be held in Orlando, Florida, the St. Croix Small Fry All Stars Basketball Team traveled to Naranjito, Puerto Rico, to participate in the Puerto Rico Small Fry Invitational Tournament held from January 11-13, 2019. The St. Croix All Stars placed second amongst eight teams.
The team finished pool play with a record of 3-0 with wins over Bayamon ABB (35-18), Arecibo Arvaja (43-30), and CIAPR (41-39). Unfortunately, the St. Croix team lost in the championship game to the host team, Naranjito Small Fry. The St. Croix Small Fry All Stars team was coached by Jose 'Besse' Gonzalez, Raymond 'Bladda' Cornelius, and Robert Molloy.
In additional preparation for the Small Fry International Championship, the team will be traveling to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands in March 2019 to participate in the Paradise Showdown Tournament. The International Small Fry Championship Tournament will be held in Orlando, Florida, from April 15-18, 2019.
Small Fry Basketball is a developmental and highly competitive youth basketball program for players no taller than 5-foot-1 and not older than 12 years of age as of September 1st immediately prior to the competition season.
Team members are Nyack Nathaniel, Tajahre Jarvis, K'Mani George, Kyvon Parris, Nasir Melendez. Carlos Santana, RaShad Williams, Joshua Rodgers, and Zamouy Swantson.

The International Basketball Federation announced San Juan, Puerto Rico, as host city of the Centrobasket U17 Championships 2019. St. Thomas Jaguars finished in 15th place in the 2019 International Small Fry Tournament. Game 25: St. Thomas 51, Caguas Libac 26 (15th Place) Kareem Pinney led a balanced effort with nine points and Jaden Dowe added eight to lead St. Thomas to 15th place. Caguas, which never recovered after being outscored, 14-2, in the second period, got 11 points from Bryan Rivera. Tuesday'sSmall Fry Results Game 8: Chicago Heights 48, St. Thomas, VI 21 Jamison Coulter clicked for 12 points and Aaron Harvey added 10 markers to spark the Green Streaks, who jumped to a 27-8 advantage by the intermission.
