The award is Willett's second Player of the Week honor this season and the fourth time that a Queens player has claimed the award this year.

Willett helped guide Queens to a 2-0 week, with conference wins over Wingate University, 95-71, and at Anderson University, 83-75. On Wednesday versus Wingate, Willett scored 19 points with 12 rebounds, four assists, a block, and a steal, to record his 17th double-double of the season. At Anderson on Saturday, Willett scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to notch his 18th double-double of the year, a mark that leads the NCAA in all divisions.
