ROCK HILL, S.C. - Queens University of Charlotte senior forward Shaun Willett (193-F) has been named AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 4-10, the South Atlantic Conference announced on Monday. The award is Willett's third weekly honor of the season and the fifth time that a Queens player has claimed the award this year.

Willett helped guide Queens to a 2-0 week, with conference wins over Coker College, 89-67, and Tusculum University, 97-88. On Wednesday at Coker, Willett scored 18 points, including 15 in the second half, and grabbed 13 rebounds to record his 20th double-double of the season.

Versus Tusculum on Saturday, Willett scored 25 points with 15 rebounds to post his 21st double-double of the season, a mark that leads the NCAA in all divisions.

For the week, Willett averaged 21.5 points and 14 rebounds while shooting 51.4 percent from the field.

Led by Willett, No. 11/10 Queens (22-3, 14-1 SAC) has won three-straight games, 17 of last 18 overall, and currently holds a three-game lead atop the SAC standings.

By Adam Bushman Royce O'Neale(198-SF-93, college: Baylor)< paid many dues throughout his journey to the NBA. Splitting his collegiate eligibility between the University of Denver and the University of Baylor, O'Neale did his best to prepare for the NBA draft. He would spend the 2015 draft night waiting for his name to be called, only to end the night disappointed with his name uncalled.
