JORDAN MURPHY
We bring you last week's top performances from Virgin Islanders who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Jordan Murphy
Jordan Murphy
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Jordan Murphy (201-97, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA. He could not help the Minnesota (4-3) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Murphy's very good performance his team was defeated 69-60 on the road by the University of Michigan. He recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 15 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Murphy's fourth season with the team. Murphy has relatively good stats this year: 14.9ppg, 11.8rpg, 2.6apg, 2FGP: 51.2%, 3FGP: 22.2% and FT: 67.1%. He has a dual citizenship: U.S. Virgin Islands and American. Murphy played for the U.S. Virgin Islands senior national team three years ago.

He scored 14 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 31 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Claxton has relatively solid stats: 12.8ppg, 8.8rpg, 2.0apg, 2.4bpg, 1.1spg, 3FGP: 25.9% and FT: 64.6% in 28 games he played so far. Alcindor recorded only 2 points in 10 minutes. his team lost 53-66 on their home court in Denton to the Louisiana Tech University. It's Alcindor's first season with the team.
