Shaun Willett (193-F) and the No. 7/6 Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team opens postseason play on Wednesday night at the Levine Center versus Carson-Newman University (15-13, 8-12 SAC) in the quarterfinals of the South Atlantic Conference Pilot Flying J Men's Basketball Championships. Opening tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Royals earned the No. 1 seed in the eight-team tournament after winning the SAC Regular Season Championship by five games. The winner of Wednesday's matchup will meet the winner of No. 4 Tusculum University and No. 5 Lenoir-Rhyne University on Saturday, March 9, in the conference semifinals at Timmons Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
Willett finished as the regular season as the SAC's second-leading scorer, with an average of 19.6 points per game, and the League's leading rebounder, averaging 12.0 rebounds per game. He currently ranks third nationally in rebounds per game and leads Division II in total rebounds (360).

Miguel Arnold (180-PG) and the Jaguars are ranked No. 3 in the NCAA Southeast Region and finished the regular season on a 10-game win streak to post a 23-5 overall record and win the PBC Championship.

Shaquan Jules (201-F) and USC Aiken Pacers host the PBC Quarterfinal game on Wednesday against Lander at 7:30 p.m.

Kwame McBean (203-F) and Arkansas-Monticello (16-12) clinched seventh place in the GAC standings and will face Southeastern Oklahoma (20-6) in the first round of the conference tournament at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday March 7 in Bartlesville, Okla.

Quennel Francis (183-PG) (183-PG) and the Southeastern Fire men's basketball team is set to make consecutive appearances at the NAIA Division II Championship for the first time in program history. The Fire will take on the University of Jamestown on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. Eastern in the first round of play in the Liston Bracket. The winner will advance to play either second-seeded Spring Arbor or seventh-seeded Indiana Tech on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Eastern.

The DII National Tournament will be played in Danville, Illinois on March 19-23 in the Mary Miller Center.

FIBA held the draw for groups for men's basketball of the Pan American Games in Lima 2019, leaving the Virgin Islands in group A with Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the United States.
