Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Virgin Islanders who are currently playing abroad.

Walter Hodge
Walter Hodge
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida, currently plays in Lebanon). He led Homentmen to a victory over the sixth-ranked Hoops Club (6-10) 88-80 in a derby game in the Lebanese LBL in Saturday night's game. Hodge was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 29 points and making 11 passes. Hodge also added 5 rebounds in 40 minutes on the court. Homentmen Beirut (12-4) is placed second in the LBL. Hodge has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 22.6ppg, 3.9rpg, 6.9apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 56.3%(98-174), 3FGP: 35.7% and FT: 84.5% in 17 games he played so far. Hodge has a dual citizenship: U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rican. He is currently a member of the U.S. Virgin Islands senior national team.

Deon Edwin
Deon Edwin
#2. Second place goes to an international guard Deon Edwin (190-92, agency: Interperformances, college: Kent St., currently plays in Ukraine). He was the major contributor in Khimik's victory against the league outsider Politekhnik (9-19) 83-81 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Wednesday night. Edwin recorded 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in 30 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. BK Khimik-OPZ Yuhzny (19-9) is placed second in the Superleague. Edwin has very impressive stats this year: 15.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 4.8apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 59.7%(151-253), 3FGP: 32.8% and FT: 69.7% in 30 games. He is in the roster of the U.S. Virgin Islands senior national team.

Frank Elegar
Frank Elegar
#3. The U.S. Virgin Islands player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel, currently plays in Turkey). Elegar contributed to a 3-point Tofas' victory against the closely-ranked Turk Telekom (10-16) 85-82 in the Turkish BSL in Saturday night's game. He scored 12 points. Tofas Bursa (13-13) is placed third in the BSL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Elegar has relatively good stats this season: 11.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.7apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 66.7%(50-75) and FT: 67.3%. He is another player who holds two passports: U.S. Virgin Islands and Guyanese. Elegar played for the U.S. Virgin Islands national team three years ago.

Justin Gray
Justin Gray
#4. Forward Justin Gray (198-95, college: Texas Tech, currently plays in United Kingdom) could not help Bristol Acadamy Flyers (13-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the league leader Bristol Acadamy Flyers was badly defeated 86-66 on the road by the lower-ranked (#6) Sheffield Sharks. Gray was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 33 minutes. It's Gray's first season with the team. This year Gray has relatively solid stats: 13.9ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.6apg and 1.1bpg in 23 games. He is also U.S. Virgin Islands national team player.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has U.S. Virgin Islands passport:

#1. John Collins (208-PF-97, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in NBA) led Atlanta Hawks to a 1-point victory against the Milwaukee Bucks (58-20) 136-135 in the NBA last Sunday. Collins recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 3 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Collins' second season in pro basketball. The Atlanta Hawks have 29-50 record this season. There are only three games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Collins has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 19.5ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.9apg. Collins has a dual citizenship: U.S. Virgin Islands and American.
