Aska All Decade team

Tyra Aska

Tyra Aska (173-G-98) was selected to the All Decade team of the Great American Conference.

Aska joined the Lady Bulldogs loaded backcourt starting with the 2016-17 season and she's one of two active players on the All-Decade Team along with Pink Jones of Henderson State. Aska has been a member of two conference championship teams at SWOSU and she is currently a three-time All-GAC selection, which includes being named the 2018 GAC Defensive Player of the Year. This season, Aska is averaging 9.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

The original list of nominees consisted of players that met at least one of the following three criteria: earned an "Of the Year" award, named to at least two All-GAC First Teams or at least three All-GAC teams. The voting electorate consisted of GAC coaches, sports information directors, athletic directors, senior woman administrators and media members. The All-Decade teams consisted of all nominees named on at least 50 percent of returned ballots.
