Leganes keep Tate for another season

Laboratorios Ynsadiet Lagenes (LF2) re-signed 24-year old Virgin Islander international guard Imani Tate (175-95, college: Albany). She has a double citizenship as she also holds American passport. Tate has played there for the last two seasons. It was a very successful year in her career as she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF2 2nd Team.
The previous (2019) summer Tate played at Leones in Ecuadorian league.
Tate also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) last year. Her stats at that event were 4 games: 12.3ppg, 4.3rpg, Assists-5 (2.8apg), 2.0spg, FGP: 39.1%, 3PT: 10.0%.
Tate has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Union Florida).
Among many awards her team was regular season runner-up in Argentinian La Liga Clausura in 2018. Tate received also All-AEC Sixth Player of the Year award back in 2015 at her college time.
She attended University at Albany until 2017 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
