Akeema Richards (ex Lobas) is a newcomer at Les Foxes

Les-Foxes-Yerevan (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old Virgin Islander international 170cm guard Akeema Richards (college: Delaware) for season 2022-23. Richards played this summer at Lobas in Mexican LMBPF. In 8 games just recently she recorded 3.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season she played at Templeogue (Division 1) in Irish league. Richards contributed to her team making it to the cup final.
She also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Centrobasket in San Salvador (El Salvador) last year. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 4 games: 8.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.5apg, FGP: 38.2%, FT: 54.5%.
Richards has played previously professionally in other USA team and WUBA (Georgia Energy). Richards' team won CAA Tournament in 2012 and 2013.
Worth to mention she played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped her to get the job in pro basketball.
She graduated from University of Delaware in 2014 and it will be her ninth season in pro basketball.
