United States Virgin Islands clinched Central American and Caribbean 2023 title. In the Final game they overcame Dominican Republic 76-72. US Virgin Islands started the game with a 20-12 run and led 4 points at the halftime. Dominican Republic reduced to 2 points when they won the third quarter 26-24, whilst US Virgin Islands survived with an 18-16 rally. Anisha George (188-C-1998, college: N.Texas) top-scored for the winners with 26 points and Imani Tate (175-G/F-1995, college: Albany) netted 18. Cesarina Capellan (178-SF-2003) replied with 24 points in the losing effort and Esmery Martinez (188-F) poured in 17.
