Kotka Peli-Karhut (Korisliiga) agreed terms with 33-year old Virgin Islander-U.S. Virgin Islands international swingman Natalie Kleemann-Day (182cm-1990, college: Portland) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Kleemann-Day is the second import player in the roster as USA Donica Cosby signed here earlier.
It is actually her comeback to Peli Karhut as she has played here before. She played this summer at Pollitas de Isabela in Puerto Rican BSNF. In 15 games just recently she had very impressive stats: 17.7ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.9apg and 2.0spg. 2023-23 was a great season as she was named to Puerto Rican BSNF All-Star Game and to the Puerto Rican League All-Star Game.
Kleemann-Day also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) four years ago.
She is quite experienced player. Kleemann-Day has played in eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in Denmark (Lemvig), France (Limoges), Greece (GS Kronos Agiou Dimitriou), Israel (Hertzliya), Ukraine (Chaika), Finland (Catz Lappeenranta and HyPo), Puerto Rico (Gigantes) and Australia (Pirates).
