Chania lands Taylor Jones

Taylor Jones

OA Chania (A1) tabbed 26-year old Virgin Islander ex-international 173cm guard Taylor Jones (college: Oakland). Jones played most recently at T71 Dudelange in Luxembourg LBBL. In 17 games she averaged impressive 18.6ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.3apg and 1.6spg last season. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Jones can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Second Team.
She also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Centrobasket in San Salvador (El Salvador) two years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 4 games: 13.5ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.8apg, FGP: 41.4%, 3PT: 38.9%, FT: 56.3%.
Jones is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. She is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Jones has played previously professionally in Bosnia (Banovici), Finland (Espoo Team), Iceland (Fjolnir), Portugal (CAB Madeira), Puerto Rico (Toa Baja) and Ukraine (Chaika). she was also selected toAll-Horizon League Sixth Player of the Year back in 2017 and 2018.
She won NJCAA D1 District F championship title in 2015.
Jones graduated from Oakland University in 2019 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball. She played for other colleges like: Hutchinson Community College, University of Memphis, Kentucky State University.
