Fever keeps Boston for another season

Aliyah Boston

Indiana Fever re-signed 24-year old former USA-U.S. Virgin Islands international 6-5 forward Aliyah Boston (college: S.Carolina) for the new season. She is the second import player on the roster, with Brazilian Damiris Dantas having signed earlier. Boston has played with the team for the last two seasons, helping them win the cup and reach the league semifinals. Her previous season was very successful, as she was voted to the WNBA All-Star Game, WNBA League All-Star Game, and WNBA Second Team.
Three years ago, the Indiana Fever selected her as the first overall pick in the WNBA draft.
Boston graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2023, and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball.
Boston was a member of the USA international program for some years. She played for the USA Senior National Team between 2021 and 2024 and previously for the Under 17 National Team back in 2018. Additionally, she played for High School for 3 years.
