Euskotren San Sebastian (LF Endesa) added 30-year-old American swingman Imani Tate to their roster for the 2026-27 season. Tate, who also holds a U.S. Virgin Islands passport, joins fellow American player Paige Robinson on the team. Tate played for Ensino last season and had an impressive performance in Spain, averaging 13.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.8apg, and 1.7spg in 31 LF Endesa games. She was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish League All-Imports Team and the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish League Third Team. In the previous summer of 2025, she played for El Calor (LNBPF) in the Mexican league.
She also represented the U.S. Virgin Islands at the FIBA Women's Caribbean Championship in Guyana last year. Tate's team won Gold, and she averaged over 13 points per game. She was the 3rd best passer with 5 assists per game.
She is a highly experienced player. Thanks to her professional career, she has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America) in four different countries. Tate has played professionally in Argentina (Union Florida), Mexico (Halcones), Spain (Alcobendas, Girona, Leganes, Ardoi, and Zaragoza), and Ecuador (Leones).
Her team won the Spanish League Regular Season in 2025.
She graduated from University at Albany in 2017 and is entering her tenth season as a professional player.
