Sequoia Holmes

Panathinaikos Athens (A1) agreed terms with experienced American swingman Sequoia Holmes (183cm-70kg-86, college: UNLV) for new 2021-22 season. It is actually her comeback to Athens as she has played here before. Holmes played last summer at Equipo Femenino La Vega in United Cup in Dominican Republic. In four games she was league's third best scorer with impressive 20.3ppg and averaged 8.8rpg and 2.5spg (in top 2).

She is quite experienced player. Holmes' career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in nine different countries. Holmes tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Africa and of course North America. She has played previously professionally in Finland (Huima), Germany (Herner and Rheinland), Israel (Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv, Holon and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion), Italy (C.U.S. Chieti), Slovakia (MBK), Spain, Turkey (Samsun), WNBA (S.Antonio SS, Atlanta Dream and LV Aces) and Angola (Inter-Clube).

Her team won United Cup in 2021. Holmes was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League 2nd Team in 2021.

She attended University of Nevada - Las Vegas until 2008 and it will be her 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
