The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dominican Rep. Immortals at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were rolled over by American Lady Monarchs 74-37. The best player for the winners was guard Aliyah Mazyck (175-1996, college: USC) who scored 14 points. Guard Ameryst Alston (175-1993, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 15 points. American point guard Kristina Puthoff-King (180-1992, college: Richmond) produced 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Lady Monarchs are looking forward to face Indias in the next round. Immortals will play against Fenix in Santiago and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
