Round 4: Fenix is defeated by Indias in a derby game

The most interesting game of round 4 was a derby match between two teams from Dominican Republic. Fourth ranked Indias won against visiting Fenix (1-3) 50-46. Worth to mention a great performance of Vanesa Bautista who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds and Katerin Sena who added 8 points during the contest. At the losing side swingman Yadira Polanco (178-1992) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Indias left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with defeated Fenix.
Very significant was American Lady Monarchs' (#1, 4-0) victory against their biggest opponent Dominican Rep. Immortals (2-2) 80-75. The winners were led by center Khaalia Hillsman (195-1996, college: Texas A&M) who scored that evening 12 points and 8 rebounds and Aliyah Mazyck supported her with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Even 26 points and 6 rebounds by American swingman Jennifer Pena (175-1993, college: Missouri S&T) did not help to save the game for Immortals. Lady Monarchs have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Immortals at the other side keep the second place with two games lost.
