Jennifer Pena
Vanesa Bautista had a great game in the last round for Indias, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The player was the main contributor (15 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to her team's victory, helping them to edge out Fenix (1-3) 50-46. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Indias maintains the 4th position in United Cup . Too late to improve their position as they are currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 3 games and recorded just one victory. Bautista has many years of experience at Indias, through which she has constantly improved. Vanesa Bautista averages just after three games 8.3ppg.
The second best player in last round's games was young American Jennifer Pena (175-G/F-1993) of league's second-best Immortals. Pena had a very good evening with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Immortals lost that game 75-80 to league's leader Flint LM (#1, 4-0). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Immortals still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 2-2 record is not bad at all. Pena is one of the most experienced players at Immortals and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.5ppg (#1). She also registered 5.3 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was swingman Yadira Polanco (178-G/F-1992) of Fenix (#3). Polanco scored 10 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Polanco's great performance Fenix lost 46-50 to #4 ranked Indias. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Fenix can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Polanco she does not play for a better team. But maybe if she did, her season stats would not be that high. Polanco has individually a great season in United Cup. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 12.3ppg (4th best), rebounds with 9.3rpg (2nd best) and assists with 2.0apg (8th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
