Ferro CS claimed Salto title. They held off Salto in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. Ferro CS forced 21 Salto Uru. turnovers. 31 personal fouls committed by Salto Uru. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward James Rojas (201-1999, college: Wichita St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds for the winners and guard Angel Caballero (186-1999) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds.
