Malvin won their third Uruguayan League championship after beating Defensor Sporting 73-69 to take a 4-1 lead for the best of seven. For Malvn Bruno Fitipaldo (183-PG-91) netted 15 points and added 6 assists, Mathias Calfani (202-C-92) scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Nicolas Mazzarino (183-PG-75, agency: Players Group) added another 13 points. Also for Malvin Reque newsome scored 7 points with 6 rebounds, Alexis Elsener (196-G/F-88) netted 10 points took 4 rebounds and Tyler Field (205-C-78, college: San Diego) finished with 6 points and 5 rebounds.
