Bohemios won the promotion to the Uruguayan League - Sep 21, 2016


Lance Williams (206-C-80, college: De Paul, agency: Interperformances) scored 18 points and added 6 rebounds leading Bohemios to defeat Miramar 97-59 to win 3-2 the promotion to the Uruguayan League 2017. Bohemios will join Larranaga and Nacional, the other teams to win the promotion. Also for Bohemios, Diego Tortajada (201-C-93) scored 24 points and added 11 rebounds, while Martin Trelles (187-SG-96) scored 20 points 5 rebounds and 8 assists. For Miramar, Cristian Mazzuchi (182-G) finished with 18 points 2 rebounds and 6 assists, Nick Waddell (200-C, college: Grand Valley St.) scored 5 points and 4 rebounds.

Nacional won the promotion to the Liga Uruguaya 2017 - Sep 9, 2016


Nacional won the promotion to play the Uruguayan League 2017 after beating Miramar 78-72 for a 3-1 lead for the best of five. Benjamin Puckett (205-F/C-83, college: Clayton St.) scored 11 points and added 11 rebounds, while Nicolas Ibarra (192-F-82) added 20 points and 10 rebounds. For Miramar, Nick Waddell (200-C, college: Grand Valley St.) netted 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Nacional will play the championship game against Larranaga, also promoted to play the Uruguayan League, next Wednesday 14th. A third promotion will be played by Miramar and Bohemios.

Anthony Danridge (196-G/F-86, college: N.Mexico) netted a two points shot with eigth seconds to play and Larranaga defeated Bohemios 72-71, winning the promotion to the Uruguayan League 2017. Larranaga won the playoff 3-1, while for another promotion Nacional is defeating Miramar 2-1, for the best of five. Danridge finished with 23 points 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Juan Andres Galleto (181-PG-96) added 16 points and 5 rebounds. For Bohemios, Martin Perdomo netted 24 points and added 7 rebounds and 3 assists, while Lance Williams (206-C-80, college: De Paul, agency: Interperformances) scored 9 points with 9 rebounds.
