JOHN DICKSON

Club Atletico Olimpia Montevideo (LUB) tabbed 27-year old American forward John Dickson (198-91kg-90, college: Sacramento State). He played most recently at CDE Esp. Talca in Chilean Liga Nacional. In four games he averaged impressive 21.0ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.3apg last season. Dickson also played for Union (TNA) in league where in 15 games he had very remarkable stats: 16.8ppg, 4.9rpg and 2.4apg.
Three years ago (two years after he left the college) Dickson was drafted by Bakersfield Jam (D-League) in third round (55th overall).
He attended Sacramento State until 2013 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Dickson's team made it to the Colombian Liga DirecTV-1 Semifinals in 2015. He received also Latinbasket.com Chilean Liga Nacional All-Imports Team award back in 2015.
Dickson is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. Dickson has played previously professionally also in Australia (Tigers), Germany (ETB Wohnbau) and Luxembourg (Black Star).
