There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Fourteenth-ranked Verdirrojo (2-22) gave a tough game to second ranked Malvin (19-6) in Montevideo on Friday. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 71-68. However their fans expected much easier game. American forward Shawn Glover (201-90, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Marcos Cabot (178-89) chipped in 11 points during the contest. Malvin's coach Pablo Lopez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Center Martin Garay (196-95) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Malvin have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Verdirrojo lost twelfth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 22 lost games. Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Trouville (#7) and Defensor (#4). Even 10 points and 6 rebounds by American center Anthony-Laveal Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) did not help to save the game for Defensor. Trouville maintains seventh position with 15-10 record. Defensor at the other side dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Olimpia.
