PHIL HENRY

American-Jamaican Phil Henry (203-C/F-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for ATENAS and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 27-year old had a double-double of 37 points and eleven rebounds, while his team lost the game against Nacional (#2, 19-6) 83-102. Atenas maintains the 11th position in Uruguayan LUB. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Atenas have already lost 18 games and recorded just seven victories. In the team's last game Henry had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Atenas' top player in his first season with the team. Phil Henry averages this season 14.9ppg and 6.2rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 38-year old Panamanian center Jaime Lloreda (204-C-80) of Hebraica. Lloreda impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Hebraica was edged by the higher-ranked Defensor (#3, 17-9) 89-87. This loss caused Hebraica to drop to 9th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 14-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Lloreda is one of the most experienced players at Hebraica and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Jarred Shaw (208-C-90) of GOES (#8). Shaw scored 19 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Goes, leading his team to a 95-58 easy win against the lower-ranked Verdirrojo (#14, 2-23). Goes needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 12 lost games. Shaw has a great season in Uruguay. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.8ppg (4th best). He also has 1.1bpg and FGP: 59.9%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Andres Dotti (185-G-93) of Defensor - 25 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Storm Warren (201-PF-88) of Bigua - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Santiago Moglia (196-F-89) of Nacional - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Kiril Wachsmann (203-C-84) of Olimpia - 13 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Anthony Laveal Johnson (203-C-88) of Defensor - 20 points and 10 rebounds
9. Anthony Danridge (196-F-86) of Nacional - 26 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Rick Jackson (206-F-89) of Goes - 16 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
